SHORT ANSWER: PlayStation 2 because of piracy
LONG ANSWER BECAUSE I GET EXCITED ABOUT THIS STORY:
My first console was a PlayStation 2, just like ALL the other kids in my time. Piracy in Brazil has always been easy and huge. At the time, no one had the money for a PS3 or XB360. All parents bought PS2s for their kids, even though it was 2010, because a pirated game cost R$3.00 (US$1.70 at the time), and an original PS3 game cost R$200.00 (US$112.80 at the time). I only found out what a PS3 and a 360 were when the PS4 was released. Then, these older ones were able to be unlocked and pirated games started to be available for them.
