The fixation started around 2021 or 2022? It's really blurry, strangely, but it WAS around then, for sure, due to coming across a TikTok from a comp posted on YouTube. That certainly kick-started all of it, just not towards the extent, as what's visible now. The full realization of experiencing lepidopterophilia had hit late 2023 or early 2024, which is a jump between the seed that started it all and where the affection has ended up now.

Madi thinks that one of the things that strengthened the attraction was becoming a moth, however. This all originally was a form of autozoophilia. However, things sort of "spiraled out of control" [which isn't a bad thing, nor is it something that this moth will complain about], and said moth started to dig around with more moths.

Semi-unrelated fun fact; there's a massive lean towards green and blue moths that this moth experiences, similar to being objectum with these colors in mind.
