sometimes I found as chrono-youth adults I didn't feel comfortable or safe with would creep on me and demanded a hug even if I didn't want to. that feels gross at any age but being chrono-adult it happens less often so it started to feel nicer because I stopped having people I wasn't comfortable with feeling as entitled to demand a hug. adult-liberation being a default is rude, so I think that part is kind of the main reason, if not the only reason that it's felt safer and nicer as a chrono-adult. I'd probably have been able to appreciate hugs more as chrono-youth if I had an easier time declining a hug from someone older who I don't like, but I think that's more a matter of sometimes chrono-adults are pushy weirdos, so iunno. I have weird feelings about that because it feels unfair and I wish I got more hugs now like I used to? it's complicated but also if it's a safe hug I always liked it because those always felt good no matter what =^.^=
